Day 2, Roma, Vatican Museum

 The Prima Porta...Brandon's favorite statue

 Ninja Turtle #2- Raphael

 Thinking...thinking...

There was a whole room with works by Matisse.  I heart this one.
 Nick found baby Jesus

 Original Dali!

 This was my favorite.

Throughout the trip, Nick ended up with monuments coming out of his head in the pictures...

Alright...this was the sign on the subway in Rome.  My favorite is the guy on the bottom left.  Don't get your bottom stuck in the door.

Lunch at Gina's at the Spanish Steps...thanks, Gina!

 Gina's storefront

 Spanish Steps

Is it a blow dryer or a telephone?

 Loving this shower...classy

 The running man was everywhere!

Nick, ordering gelato.  He had to just push his way in.  No line.  Normale.

It's an ice cream show-down.  And I have electric boogers?

Sometimes when you are lost in the middle of Rome, it helps to be wearing a traditional kimono.

Is it a cafe, restaurant, or club?  I think you get a 3-for-1 deal here.

And so ends our Italian Adventure, but no fear!  Up next?  Greece!!!

TREVI FOUNTAIN

ANOTHER IRISH PUB!

Next up? Day 2, Rome, Vatican Museum

Florence- Day 2

Day 2 was our only full day in Florence...
We went to Galleria Academia to see the statue of the David, amongst other things.  Didn't take pictures there, though, because I am a rule-follower.   That's right.  Rule-follower to a fault.
So, Statue of the David=AMAZING!
Michelangelo was a total loon.
There is not an artist that I am aware of in today's world that would take the time to create works on the level that he did.

 Nick and the breakfast room

The sitting room at Hotel Pendini...they were playing Frank Sinatra...yes...

 Trattoria Za-Za...as per Kate's recommendation...

It was DELICIOUS!!!!
The inside of Za-Za

 That's a K for Kate...in front of Za-Za

Nick in front of his favorite cafe...Cafe Paszkowski  (www.paszkowski.it)

We also found a chocolate cafe...
 Chocolate lipstick

 Found another Irish bar...weird

 Cafe Paszkowski at night

 Good night, Florence!
